'Star Wars Battlefront' Latest Update: New Game Mode 'Fighter Squadron' Will be Showcased at E3 Event

EA Announces Star Wars Battlefront Reveal

The E3 event will commence in June 2015 and "Star Wars Battlefront" will be an integral part of it.

Official developer of "Star Wars Battlefront" DICE said that the game's first game play will be showcased at the event on June 15. It also revealed that a new game mode called the "Fighter Squadron" will also be introduced.

This mode was seen earlier in the form of a tiny snippet in the "Star Wars Battlefront" trailer, in which the huge Starfighter battles above the epic and huge canyons, according to VG 24/7.

The developers also said that for those players who do not like large scale battles, they will include new missions in the new game. These missions can be used to do a lot of different activities which were not possible till now in the games, according to IGN.

These missions can be played with other players or alone, making this introduction perfect for those who are looking for a quick dose of the Star Wars game.

It can be seen in the game's trailer that TIE fighters and X Wings indulged in a fight. The developers also added that these modes will be nothing short of a whole new experience. They further added that they want the "Star Wars Battlefront" to be not only authentic but respectful to this universe in which we live.

The game's grand debut in the month of November and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In other E3 event news, fans are going to be disappointed as Nintendo is not planning to share the details of their new console NX at the E3 event.
