Grant O'Rourke has recently dished on his "Outlander" character Rupert and his co-star Stephen Walters who play Angus in the historical time travel TV series based on Diana Gabaldon's novels.

Speaking of the decision of Rupert and Angus to put their lives on the line to help in "Outlander," O'Rourke told Access Hollywood, "I think it speaks of the evolved loyalty, I guess, that they have towards them or the affection that they have towards them that they would do that."

It is easy for "Outlander" viewers to notice that Rupert and Angus are fun to watch on screen. However, O'Rourke revealed that he and Walters did not have a chemistry test at all. He said he met Walters when they were up at the stables together after he had been cast.

For O'Rourke, Walters has to take a lot of the credit for their onscreen chemistry because he is a "genuinely lovely person" and is one of the people that the world is "a better place for him being in it."

O'Rourke added that Walters naturally loves people and he is the kind of person who loves one-on-one conversations with people so it is common to see him talking to somebody off in the distance.

Aside from the fact that they both have sons who are about the same age, O'Rourke finds Walters easy to work with just because he is both a nice guy and a good actor.

In another interview with Edinburgh News in April, O'Rourke said "Outlander" fans have gotten in touch with him from literally every continent.
