The CEO of Take Two Interactive commented that "GTA 5" story mode DLC release is not happening any time soon but a spokesperson retracted the same, saying that they can confirm only if Rockstar provides an update.

In a recent investor call CEO of Take Two Strauss Zelnick had a contradictory statement to make about the game when he said that he did not have any recollection of a story DLC being announced for "GTA 5".

"We discussed about online heists and it is now available on all platforms. We may have varied recollections because I don't remember sharing details of a story specific DLC," he said addressing the media.

According to Gamespot, the statement made by the CEO during the investor meet was misspoken. A spokesperson from the publisher volunteered to clarify the confusion after the story was published. He confirmed that Zelnick's comments on "GTA 5" story mode DLC release were wrong because Rockstar did talk about a DLC in their official website.

However, further details related to this story mode DLC will be shared only when Rockstar is ready to do so. Take Two does not directly influence their game developers and is not in a position to comment on the content that may or may not be ready yet.

The "GTA 5" story mode DLC release, if confirmed will further expand Los Santos by adding additional content tothe lives of the lead characters Franklin, Michael and Trevor, reported Videogamer. The announcement was made by Rockstar in February 2014 when they added that the story mode will also have flight school missions, holiday themed updates and more content to look forward to which did not materialize till now.
