Android Lollipop 5.2 update will soon hit the Android devices and it will fix the ongoing issues of version 5.1, including memory leaks, in which the system's RAM tends to fail due to the apps not properly closed leading to a slower device. The new Android Lollipop 5.2 bug fix will also address battery management issues.

Android Lollipop 5.2 update aims to increase the operating system's usage among the phone users. Currently, only 9.7 percent of the Android users are using the Lollipop version of the OS. The most popular version is Android version KitKat 4.4 (39.8 percent usage), according to Doblim News.

Lollipop software was first released in October 2014, and is arguably the best performing operating system according to the experts. Later, in February 2015, Android 5.1 was released and it had a sleeker and faster operating system.

Even though it is one of the best operating systems currently, Android Lollipop 5.1 is still incomplete and full of glitches and bugs. It still needs a lot of updates and improvements, which are anticipated to be included in the Android Lollipop 5.2 updates, according to Ecumenical News

In addition, rumors about the Android M version are also rife. "M" will stand for Muffin and many users are anticipating that Google will be releasing it soon too. Google recently released a concept video of Android M which showcased the improvement in the notification system and integration of smart home feature.

Until now, there is no confirmation about the exact Android Lollipop 5.2 release date, but the update is scheduled to be launched in this year only. Google is remaining quiet about the release of Android M as well.
