Group of Colorful Panda Sculptures Draws Crowd at Berlin Park

Panda sculptures made by artists from 11 leading Chinese art colleges and universities, are on display at the "Gardens of the World" park in Berlin, Germany, on May 20, 2015.

A panda sculpture show named "Heart Panda" has been unveiled to the public at the "Gardens of the World" park in Berlin, Germany, on May 20, 2015.

Forty-three panda sculptures with colorful paintings have been on display and attracted many local residents.

All the paintings on the panda sculptures were created by artists from 11 leading Chinese art colleges and universities.

Mimi Chen, executive director of Heart Panda, said all the artworks combine Chinese ancient lacquer paint technique with modern art ideas. She hopes these exquisite sculptures can show Berliners the creativity of China's young generation.

Berlin is the first stop for the world tour of these panda sculptures.
