Attack on Titan

The first season of Attack on Titans introduces everyone to the central characters (Armin Artlert, Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Jaeger) and the individuals that added color and dynamics to the story. In the second season of the popular anime series, a new set of important characters will emerge and provide more twist to an already complex plot.

Captain Kenny Ackerman - the leader of the first interior squad and anti-personnel control team bent to eliminate opposition of the monarchy - including the members of the Survey Corps. Cunning and supremely adept in combat, this character will have a critical role at the uprising arc, where the true identities of Eren, Krizta Lenz, and Captain Levi will be revealed.

Uri Reiss - the former possessor of the Coordinate, the most-sought power in the story that gives its wielder the ability to shift into a titan, erase and alter the memories of a person or a nation, and control other titans at will. Uri appears to be the true ruler of the walls as the descendant of the Reiss clan and the First King.

Rod Reiss - the brother of Uri who assumed the role as the king of the walls upon his sibling's death. Unlike Uri, Rod has no desire possessing the power of the Coordinate and instead compelled his children to take the responsibility vested on his clan.

Frieda Reiss - the daughter of Rod and the third generation possessor of the Coordinate. She acquired such power through a 'gory' ritual at the basement of the family house.

The Beast Titan - A 15-meter Ape-liked titan spotted within Wall Rose. Unlike other brainless giants, this behemoth is capable of communicating with other people, as he demonstrated when he interrogated Survey Corps veteran Mike Zacharius about the 3D Maneuvre Gear. Moreover, he seems to have some Coordinate power of turning humans into titans that are surprisingly active at night.
