Josh Duggar will appear in the second season of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" to address sex scandal.

"19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar recently received support from Michael Seewald amidst the molestation scandal he is currently involved in. Reports from 12 years ago surfaced that Duggar molested five underage girls at that time.

Seewald, who happens to be Jessa Duggar's husband Ben Seewald's father, penned an essay entitled "Grace Greater Than Our Sin" in support of Mr. Duggar. The essay aims to urge the family members of Duggar to forgive him for his actions, according to People.

"It pains me to see that they are now having to relive the nightmare that had been laid to rest well over a decade ago with Josh's repentance and reformation," Seewald wrote on his family blog on Sunday.

He went on to explain why Mr. Duggar should not punish himself and why his alleged victims should not be lost in all of the pain surrounding them.

Last week, news about Mr. Duggar molesting five underage girls surfaced online. The reality TV star released an exclusive statement to Today admitting his faults.

"I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends," he said.

Mr. Duggar went on to reveal that he has already spoken to authorities to confess his deed, adding that his family has also arranged for him and his victims to attend counseling.

Following such reports, Mr. Duggar resigned from his position as the Executive Director of Family Research Council Action. TLC has also pulled out "19 Kids and Counting" from its roster.
