"The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2" first official trailer has not been released, but the stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are making the fans excited about their social media posts with caption "6.9.15."
Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen) recently posted on Facebook some of her Mockingjay photos wearing black-war-gear along with other cast, Liam Hemsworth-(Gale Hawthorn), Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair) and Evan Ross (Mesalla). She captioned the post with "6.9.15 MockingjayPart2."
Few days after Lawrence' post, Hutcherson tweeted Peeta Mellark's photo wearing a bulletproof vest and black jacket along with the hashtag "6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite." The new posts are major steps in the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part2" promotional strategy. The production started serious marketing two months ago with the release of "Remember" trailer.
According to VC Post, the principal cast are giving out a hint of the official trailer release date that is on June 9. The "Hunger Games" is one of the most successful franchises based on a book series, and the production plans to extend the series by pursuing a prequel or a sequel highlighting Gale and Katniss's relationship.
"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part2" is a continued story of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part1," where Katniss Everdeen and the 12 districts began to revolt against President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and the Capitol. In the sequel, Katniss and the company have no choice but to continue with their revolution or else they will see all their family and friends die in the hands of the Capitol.
Katniss leads the charge putting their lives on the line to confront Snow and the elite. The movie is set to be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX3D theaters on November 20, Daily Mail reported.
The "Hunger Games" team is making its best strategy to promote the film. With Lawrence and Hutcherson's posts, fans are excited about what will happen on June 9.
