"Girl Meets World" has already been renewed for season 2 and now, there are reports that the sitcom will tap original cast members from "Boy Meets World" to guest star on the show.
According to Fashion N Style, "Girl Meets World" creator Michael Jacobs spoke about the series during Saturday's ATX Television Festival. While there, he dished on the future of Angela and Shawn's relationship and said that there will be huge twist involving the two of them.
Jacobs hinted that fans could react negatively over what he decided to do to Shawn and Angela for the upcoming sophomore season. However, he urged fans to watch the particular episode at least six times before they actually say something bad about it.
The show creator urged that his plans with Shawn and Angela has been well thought of and his intentions are nothing but good for both characters.
Jacobs also revealed which characters from season 1 will return to season 2 and he singlehandedly mentioned the character of Morgan.
Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, Jacobs also confirmed that Farkle's mother from "Boy Meets World" will also reprise her role in "Girl Meets World" this coming season 2.
According to him, the mother will be different from what fans might remember her to be. Not to mention, her storyline in the upcoming season may seem quite unbelievable.
Additionally, "Boy Meets World" cast member Matthew Lawrence will also return to play his role Jack. He will be involved with his best friend Eric, Rowan Blanchard told the publication.
"Girl Meets World" airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
