Hoax Website Generates Fake Nintendo E3 News

The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 is fast approaching and with it a bunch of internet hoax that generates fake news. The latest to hit mainstream attention is a website that generate fake Nintendo E3 Digital Event documents.

The fake Nintendo Digital Events generator can be accessed here. The website automatically generates fake news every time the user refreshes the web page.

The fake news generator appears to be operating at random and every web page refresh means that it generates a different result. Among the most frequent result shows different version of "Legend of Zelda," "Metroid," "Super Mario" and "Donkey Kong."

The website also provide the specific platform on which a certain video game will be released along with its respective presenter. The website cites several of Nintendo's top executives as presenter including Saturo Iwata, Riggie Fils-Aime, Shigeru Miyamoto and Bill Trinen. The inclusion of Nintendo executives as presenter adds a level legitimacy to the fake news, according to Game Informer.

 On the other hand, the official Nintendo E3 keynote is scheduled on June 16-18. Nintendo. Nintendo Digital Event will start on June 16 at 9 A.M. Pacific time. Nintendo's live E3 coverage dubbed as Nintendo Treehouse will also commence on the same date. Finally, the Nintendo Access which will present the upcoming "Mario Maker" game for Wii U will kick-off on June 17.

On its upcoming E3 presentation, Nintendo is rumored to unveil a new trailer for "Legend of Zelda" for Wii U. Nintedo fans are also expecting for new set of Amiibo figurines. According to Express, the Nintendo NX console will not be part of the company's E3 presentation.

Before Nintendo's E3 presentation, the company will launch Nintendo World Championships 2015 on June 14.
