The highly anticipated "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" was finally released in different console platforms on June 9. The game was initially released as a PC exclusive and after multiple tweaks and patches in order to balance the game, Bethesda, the games developer, finally decided to offer it in the console market.

The console version of "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" was announced on May 8. Bethesda announced that the game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console. Whether the game will support older generation consoles is yet to be determined.

The setting of the "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is taking 800 years before the events that took place in "Morrowind" and "Oblivion," according to Express. Moreover, events in "Skyrim" took place 1000 years after "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," if proper chronology is to be followed.

The story revolves around Prince Molag Bal who attempts to merge the whole Elder Scroll universe into his domain in the plane of Oblivion. In the game, three different warring factions are trying to take total control of the Ruby Throne located in the Imperial City.

Console owners can now purchase the game in their respective app stores, Xbox Live for the Xbox One console and PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 console.

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is offered in a buy-to-play basis which means that unlike other MMRPG's that require monthly subscription fee in order to be played, the game only requires a one-time payment of $60 and all the playable content will be available without any restriction, according to Cinema Blend.
