Apple's upcoming device - iPad Mini 4, is more likely on its way to the market shelves soon, as its predecessors - iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 3 are having slashed price tags.

Best Buy is reportedly offering the last generation Apple tablets at discounted rates, for users to save anywhere around $60 to $200, for a limited period, according to TechTimes.

Rumor has it that the Cupertino will unveil the iPad Mini 4, this October. However, there is no official word from the company as of now.

Best Buy has listed the iPad Mini - Apple's first foray into the tablet market space that was launched around 3 years ago, for just $199, rather than the regular $349.99. iPad Mini 2 - the 16GB (Wi-Fi + Cellular) variant from AT&T in silver and white option is available for $229.99, exactly $200 less from the regular $429.99 price. In case of the latest iPad Mini 3, the 16GB Wi-Fi variant in silver, gold or gray option is available for $299.99, instead of the regular $399.99.

With these discounted prices, the rumor mill has churned out a number of reports that suggest for an approaching iPad Mini 4 release, which is said to boast a thinner design with 7.9-inch display and a powerful A9 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. The iPad Mini will likely run on iOS 9 and feature a Touch ID sensor, as per Christian Today.

iPad Mini 4 is speculated to have higher and improved specs from its predecessor and will reportedly be available through Verizon. However, these reports need to be taken with a pinch of salt, as Apple is yet to officially comment on the tablet.
