"Hart of Dixie" season 4 ended on a positive note, but fans are still unhappy that the creators of the CW series chose to cancel the show without much explanation.

According to Youth Health Mag, the production team of "Hart of Dixie" did not blame the series' cancellation on Rachel Bilson's pregnancy. However, it seems that there is still a chance they are unhappy with the actress' decision to leave the show.

Meanwhile, a recent interview with actress Jaime King confirmed that it was indeed Bilson's pregnancy that caused the show's cancellation.

According to Master Herald, King confirmed that Bilson expressed her desire to become a full-time mother immediately after she found out that she was pregnant with her first child.

At that time, the production staff of "Hart of Dixie" thought that she was still contemplating her decision, only to find out later on that she was already set on exiting the show.

For very obvious reasons, "Hart of Dixie" cannot continue without Bilson, who played the role of Dr. Hart on the series. Now, fans are suggesting that it was Bilson's fault that is why everyone lost their jobs without prior notice.

However, the CW previously announced the cancellation of "Hart of Dixie" and said that the production staff and the cast members already knew that the series will not be renewed even before they aired the finale episode for season 4.

As of late, Bilson still has not released an official statement regarding her exit from "Hart of Dixie," but one thing is for sure, she is currently busy taking care of her daughter Briar Rose.
