"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will have a new Ballad Heroes Neutral Gwent Card Set and a new Fool’s Gold Quest as the new free DLC, to be released this week.
The Gwent card set and Pig quest follows the previous free DLC of an armor set and a crossbow set to the players. The new DLC is available for preview on The Witcher official Facebook page.
With the Neutral Gwent card set, players using any type of deck, can add to their current build. In case of the Pig Quest, players will reportedly take Geralt into a town with not even a single citizen that is inhabited by pigs.
“Geralt and a village idiot team up to learn the secret of an abandoned village inhabited entirely by pigs,” read the description, as reported by Gamespot.
The new DLC is the latest in the series of 16 free DLCs announced by the developer CD Projekt Red for the game. The rest of the promised DLCs will be released through June and July.
CD Projekt Red has even revealed plans for expansions to the game. The first expansion is likely to be named Hearts of Stone and is speculated to launch in October this year.
The co-founder of the CD ProjeKt Red, Marcin Iwiński, in an open letter announced that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” in just two weeks, has sold over 4 million copies.
“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the four million gamers worldwide who bought The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the first two weeks from launch,” wrote Iwiński, in the official blog, adding that the company will “make the upcoming expansions worthy of the great adventure, Wild Hunt.”
