World-famous music legend and rock icon Bon Jovi is set to perform in Shanghai and give the band's fans a spectacular concert come September this year.
"We've toured around the world performing over 2,900 concerts in more than 50 countries. . . . I am excited to announce that for the first time ever we are performing in Shanghai! See you September 14!", the group's frontman Jon Bon Jovi wrote to his Chinese fans.
The band will perform at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena.
The tickets for the concert will be available beginning June 16, 2 p.m., via ticketing hotline 400-610-3721 and sites Damai.cn and SmartShanghai.com.
Apart from his Shanghai show, Bon Jovi will also be performing in a back-to-back concert in Macao on Sept. 25 and 26. It will be held at Cotai Arena, The Venetian Macao.

The band hailing from New Jersey is known for a number of rock anthems such as "It's My Life," "Livin' on a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name," "I'll Be There for You" and "Bed of Roses."
Bon Jovi's music style is often labeled as "hard rock," "arena rock" and "pop rock."
Formed in 1983, the group has released 12 studio albums, two compilations and two live albums. They are also considered one of the best-selling bands of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide.
Bon Jovi was inducted into the prestigious U.K. Music Hall of Fame in 2006. Band members Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora were inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame three years later.
