‘Clash of Clans’ 7.65 Updates, Maintenance, Investment Report: Bookmarking Added

"Clash of Clans" is a 2012 freemium mobile MMO strategy video game developed and published by Supercell, a video game company based in Helsinki, Finland.

In the very popular mobile video game "Clash of Clans," bookmarking clans is one of the most essential tools in order to remember opposing clans for a more effective clan war. The bookmarking feature was added in the "Clash of Clans" version 7.65 update.

The "Clash of Clans" version 7.65 update, aside from adding the bookmarking feature, fixed some user reported issues. "Clash of Clans" developer Supercell said that all the bugs reported to them were all addressed in order to provide a more balanced gameplay.

The new update also added a feature where players can have a preview of their respective army before attack an opponent. This feature is important to gamers since it allows them to work on some strategy before launching an attack.

The "Clash of Clans" version 7.65 also give players a one-time only chance to change their clan's name. After the name change, the player's account will be permanently named that way, according to Master Herald.

Supercell updates its most popular video game on a regular basis with updates being rolled out every month. Aside from rolling out regular updates to add new features and patch bugs, Supercell also impose server maintenance break in order to fix more serious issues. The last maintenance break was on May 18.

Most of the time, a maintenance break means that Supercell is about to release a major update or will unveil a new feature.

More recently, Supercell received a hefty investment from SoftBank amounting to as much as $1.5 billion which put the company's total valuation at $3 billion, according to Venture Beat. The investment will increase SoftBank's share to 51 percent.
