The camera was not LeBron James' best friend at the NBA Finals Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers on June 11, Thursday. Before the game, he made headlines by exposing his penis on live television, and after the game, he had stitches in his head.
James did not tell the reporters how many stitches he had in his head as he already had them by the time he entered the interview room after the NBA Finals Game 4 at Quicken Loans Arena. He was wearing a hat so the reporters were not allowed to see the stitches, according to Seattle Times.
"Enough to close it up," the Cleveland Cavaliers' superstar told the reporters of his stitches, which was caused by hitting his head on the lens of a television camera when he was pushed out of bounds during the NBA Finals Game 4.
According to James, he did not have to go through the concussion protocol of the NBA. Prior to the stitches, he already made headlines when he briefly lowered his black compression shorts and inadvertently exposed his penis on live television.
As the Cleveland Cavaliers' small forward was getting ready to take the court, an ABC camera moved in for a close-up a little too close. The wardrobe malfunction was witnesses by an estimated 18.5 million viewers in the first three games of the series.
The NBA Finals Game 4 battle between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers ended with 103-82 scores in favor of the former. Tied at two, the best-of-seven series will resume in Oakland, Calif., on June 14, Sunday.
