The new Google Nexus 5 concept image shows off great specs and features.

According to Concept Phones, the latest render was made by DBS who posted a video on YouTube showing off the rumored specs and features of the handset.

Based on the video, the Google Nexus 5 2015 concept image packs a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED screen display. The screen will be an edge to edge panel. The handset will also purportedly be powered by the future Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm paired with 4GB RAM.

The smartphone also shows off 20 megapixel back camera with OIS 2.0 and F/1.8 lens and 13 megapixel front camera, fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor, Android M operating system, USB Type C port, and 4,000 mAh removable battery. Some of the surprising features of the handset are 64GB and 128GB internal storage and 1TB additional storage via microSD slot.

Meanwhile, Google Nexus 5 2015 release date will reportedly happen in October after the device went missing in action at Google's I/O tech conference. This will coincide with the official roll out of the new Android M in the fall.

Geek Snack cited an unnamed source close to the matter claimed that the rumored Nexus 5 2015 handset will be a revamped or redesigned version of the popular LG Nexus 5. Grapevine claimed that the decision was made after the current Nexus 6 was proved to be unpopular among consumers due to its very steep price in comparison with its predecessor.

Thus, LG Electronics is once again being tapped to take the helm in making the smartphone. However, Google has revealed no official information yet about the handset.
