Google Play, iTunes Release Updated US Open Golf 2015 App Android, iOS Devices; Player Favoriting, Real-Time Scoring, Player Highlights Featured

US Open Golf 2015 app for iOS and Android has been released to allow golf fanatics to be updated with all of the event's highlights.

Official app for iPad, iPhone, and Android have been updated for this year's US open. Included in the features are three live-streaming channels, highlights, and on-demand videos. The golf 2015 tournament will run from Jun 15 to June 21 in Chambers Bay, Washington.

The starting times and groupings for the first round have already been revealed through the official US Open website. On June 11, its first round will commence with Martin Kayment defending his title against the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, Rory Mcllroy, and Phil Mickelson.

Also, the app includes a leader board equipped with a real-time scoring, player highlights, and shot-by-shot data. One of the app's best deals is the presence of an unlimited player favoriting. There will be interactive course maps with flyover videos of the holes and course details. For individuals who are able to attend the games, spectator maps are available.

A few other app advantages include live photos and updates, as well as, player course locator while the users are receiving favorite players' notifications, Google Play revealed.

The app is offered for free, which could be downloaded from iTunes for iOS; the app was updated on June 12. It has been designed to perform with iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone devices that are running under iOS 7. For Android devices, the US Open Golf app can be downloaded at Google Play, made compatible with devices that are running under Android 4.0; the app was updated hours ago.
