The upcoming second episode of "The Fosters" will provide audiences with more answers, not only that Callie and Jude will learn more about their respective family's history, but it seems that Jesus may also return in the upcoming episodes.
Ahead of last week's premiere, there were reports that Jake T. Austin will no longer return to reprise his role as Jesus. However, it was revealed on Monday night that he was not killed in the car crash. Rather, he just went straight to an all-boys boarding school after recovering from the accident.
According to TV Guide, there is still a chance that Austin will return to "The Fosters." However, this will take time. Additionally, a new character may also be introduced to replace him.
Meanwhile, according to Fashion N Style, the episode entitled "Father's Day" will focus more on Callie and Jude. In episode 2, audiences will learn more about Jude's father and how he physically assaulted his mother.
Actor Jamie McShane will guest star on Monday night as Jude's biological father Donald and the character will be invited by Jude to attend their Father's Day brunch. Callie will be surprised by Jude's decision to invite Donald especially since she was not aware that they were communicating frequently.
Callie will be spending Father's Day with the Quinns and she will be hearing some surprising news during their gathering. Brandon, meanwhile, will feel the pressure of excelling at Idyllwild that he will let off some steam with his classmates.
"The Fosters" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
