"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller revealed that the Lifetime reality series is going to be cancelled even before it reaches season 6.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Miller hinted that "Dance Moms" is not returning for a sixth season. When asked who among her dance crew will be following her to Los Angeles, Miller refused to answer the question, saying that she highly doubts that there will be a season 6.

Although the reality star failed to elaborate on what could possibly cause the cancellation of the reality series, International Business Times have hinted that "Dance Moms" could soon be over because of financial reasons.

Miller was earlier quoted in saying that the kids only made $1,500-$2,000 per episode despite receiving international success and a huge following. Miller further claimed that Lifetime owed her more money and that production for season 6 would only continue once they settled their dispute.

Miller also revealed that she was thinking of producing "Dance Moms" without the help of Lifetime. Avid viewers of the reality show might have seen this change coming, given that she had experience in the field. Miller has have helped producing Kendall Vertes' and Mackenzie Ziegler' music video in the past. Miller, however, claimed that there was a lot to consider before going to producing but she is not keeping her doors closed.

Miller added that by producing her own show, she, together with the girls would have more control over what they wanted to show the viewers, especially when it comes to editing dramatic scenes. She added that, this way, everyone would be given the credit that s/he deserves.

The ALDC founder also hinted that fans will not see a lot of her in the second half of "Dance Moms" season 5. She admitted that during one of the episodes, Lifetime producers have decided to throw her out of the shoot.

"You know what? If they can do it without me, do it without me," she told Entertainment Tonight.
