The highly anticipated sequel to the "Big Hero 6" movie has been confirmed. It was said that the upcoming Pixar movie, "Big Hero 7," will focus on Hiro's very much alive older brother Tadashi.

Jon Negroni of Movie Pilot was among the first who speculated that Tadashi is alive and will be returning in "Big Hero 7." He believed that the fire that killed everyone helped Tadashi develop powers of his own. This does not come as a surprise given that the entire building was full of one-of-a-kind inventions.

The author perceived that Disney was prepping Tadashi to be Sunfire, one of the original members of the team and an iconic character in the Marvel universe.

Tadashi's return, however, would not be so simple, it turns out. It was rumored that his character would be first possessed by an enemy, turning him into a villain. In the end, it could be the two brothers, Hiro and Tadashi facing each other in battle.

Negroni added that Pixar and Marvel both owed fans a sequel. He held that a story like "Big Hero 6" does not come often, calling it "one of the most beautiful animated films of our time."

In a recent Gillette/ "Stark Industries event, comic legend Stan Lee, via Toronto Sun, revealed that Marvel was not in a rush to produce the sequel. He added that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will first hit theaters before "Big Hero 7," which means the "Big Hero 6" sequel may be released in late 2017 or early 2018.
