The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus release date rumors indicate that both the devices will release in September this year. Ming-Chi Kuo, who is a well-known analyst associated with KGI Securities has revealed fresh information on the forthcoming iPhones.
Force Touch Display
The next generation iPhone will be coming with a new Force Touch display, reported Macotakara.jp. The technology that can differentiate between lighter and deeper presses on the touchscreen is already available on recent Apple products like the 12-inch MacBook 2015 and the Apple Watch. If Force Touch display truly arrives on the next iPhone, its thickness will increase by 0.2 mm than the iPhone 6 models.
FaceTime Camera With LED Flash
The source code of the iOS 9 that is currently available in its beta version to the developers is revealing interesting features of the new OS. It has been found the FaceTime camera will come with an LED flash.
Rose Gold Color Variant
The forthcoming iPhone 6S models will be available in a new Rose Gold variant apart from the usual Space Gray, Silver and Gold color options. Apple may use 18-karat rose gold to give it a premium appeal, added Slash Gear.
Series 7000 Aluminum Construction
The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are heavily criticized as the devices with the respective thickness of 6.9 mm and 7.1 mm are known to bend easily. Hence, the next generation iPhones will be featuring Series 7000 aluminum chassis that is 60 percent stronger than the metal used in building the current iPhone 6 handsets.
