The upcoming "The Flash" season 2 will feature Robie Amell's Firestorm and fans are speculating that Grant Gustin's Barry Allen or The Flash may see him as weak and scared.

According to Mstarz, this speculation may actually be true since the upcoming installment will feature the darker side of Danielle Panabaker's Caitlyn Snow. In season 1, Ronnie and Caitlyn were linked because of their relationship. However, Ronnie later on transformed into his darker self, causing their union to break.

In an interview with Movie Web, Amell talked about what it was like playing the role of Ronnie in season 1 episode 1. He also dished on what it was like playing the same character in season two's premiere episode.

According to him, season 2 will kick off where season 1 left off. In season 1, Ronnie was featured as a scared schizophrenic man who did not know how to handle his powers. In season 2, something bigger may be in store for the character.

The actor then went on to talk about what it was like working together with Panabaker and revealed that he always have so much fun with the actress. However, he added that he is also very happy working with his other co-stars.

In other news, The Flash will finally come face-to-face with Caitlyn's alter ego and he will do anything to save her from her dark side. With this, Barry will have to either take down Firestorm or work together with him.

"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on the CW in October.
