There are rumors suggesting Chris Pine has already been tapped to play Green Lantern on "Justice League."
According to Latino Review, previous reports linking Pine to the role of Steve Trevor were released to make fans think that he will not play Green Lantern. However, he was recently confirmed to play the role because the production company saw that he was the right one to play the part.
The same publication noted that Warner Bros. is planning on introducing Pine as the new Green Lantern alongside the entire cast of "Justice League" at next month's San Diego Comic Con.
As of late, Pine and Warner Bros. have not yet commented regarding the report. There are no news yet as to who will play Wonder Woman's love interest Steve in "Justice League," according to Heroic Hollywood.
Meanwhile, if rumors were true that Pine will play Green Lantern, it seems that the actor will not have a hard time giving justice to his role. The actor previously starred in "Horrible Bosses 2" and "Star Trek."
Whether or not Pine will play Green Lantern may most likely be revealed at the San Diego Comin Con on July 9. There are rumors that Warner Bros. is now ready to unveil exciting spoilers from the upcoming movie in the next couple of weeks. This may be a bold move since Marvel previously confirmed they will not take part in the said event.
The first part of "Justice League" is slated for release in theaters in the United States in 2017. The sequel will reportedly be released in 2019.
