With Marvel transitions from Phase Two to Phase Three after the release of Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man," Marvel Studios Head Kevin Feige has revealed that the studio is ready to recast superheroes as needed.

The Marvel Head told The Hollywood Reporter that Phase Three movies will feature a blend of various characters and superheroes. There are characters to follow and get to know more while there are some who are about to end their scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain America is an example of a Marvel character who got recasted. Lots of incarnations are noted in the comics and the film adaptation for the patriotic superhero has had Sebatian Stan, who is playing the Winter Soldier, and Sam Wilson, who is playing Falcon.

Another Marvel character who has recently got a new actor is "Spider-Man," who is going to be played by "The Impossible" actor Tom Holland. The 19-year old actor got the iconic role after some months of testing with Marvel and Sony.

One more character who is rumored to exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the female Thor, replacing the Thor fans used to know since the god of thunder hit the big screen. If this idea gets pushed through, then fans will see a female superhero taking hold of the Mjolnir.

Recasting superheroes may leave the heroes undead and it is true that superheroes do not have to die as their exit the cinematic universe, according to Cinema Blend. One possibility is to retire in the film by playing minor or supporting roles as they work on other career opportunities.

As of now, Marvel's Phase Two is about to culminate with Reed's "Ant-Man," which is slated to premiere in theaters on July 14.
