With Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" going to hit theaters next year, it is reported that "The Odd Couple" actress Leslie Bibb will reprise her role as "Iron Man" character Christine Everheart.

Bibb posted a photo of herself on her Instagram account on June 24 and featured her and her make-up paraphernalia in the make-up room at the set of "Captain America: Civil War," which is filming it Atlanta, Georgia. The photo was captioned "everheart... fun day at work today... #marvel" and got more than 300 likes.

Originally, Everheart worked as a reporter for "The Daily Bulge," where Peter Parker has been a long-term employee. She entered Marvel's Cinematic Universe a "Vanity Fair's" journalist as Sony Pictures had the rights on "Spider-Man" that time, as per Comic Book Movie.

Everheart was made known to fans in Jon Favreau's "Iron Man" in 2008 as "Vanity Fair's" writer who wanted to do a spread on Tony Stark. She was last featured in Favreau's "Iron Man 2," in which she interviewed villain Justin Hammer at the Monaco Grand Prix, where Stark who joined the race caught her attention.

Since Bibb's character did not appear in Shane Black's "Iron Man 3," fans are surprise with her inclusion in "Civil War," as per Cinema Blend. Right now, it is still unknown on what specific role Everheart has and how she will connect to the events in the upcoming film.

"Captain America: Civil War" centers on the superhero registration act, a system installed by the government to determine the identity of the superheroes. This law creates tension between Captain "America" and "Iron Man," further separating them into two factions. Captain America is not in favor of the law, in opposition to Iron Man's adherence to the law.

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 6, 2016.
