Kanye West Stage Crashed By Lee Nelson

The invader, who crashed Kanye West's headline slot at Glastonbury festival on June 28, dedicated his act to "Shake It Off" hitmaker Taylor Swift.

The intruder is identified as British comedian, Lee Nelson, who took to Twitter to explain his motive. "I Kanye'd Kanye. That was for you @taylorswift13," tweeted the 38-year-old comedian, whose real name is Simon Brodkin.

As the show started, the comedian turned prankster ran to the Pyramid stage during the American rapper's fourth song, thus disrupting the rapper's momentum, which in turn had to take a brief pause.

The comedian was sporting a shirt that said "Lee-Zus," apparently a take on West's nickname and self-titled album "Yeezus." Nelson reportedly had a working microphone in hand as he bounced across the stage, leaving the rapper puzzled and confused.

The guard soon pushed Nelson off the stage, but before putting a brief break in the West's performance. The rapper reportedly tried to continue before halting "Black Skinhead" and restarting for a 30-song set, CNN reported.

Since it became official that the 38-year-old rapper will be headlining the five-day British music festival, some people were reportedly not happy with the decision and circulated an online petition to cancel his slot, which garnered more than 100,000 signatories.

Nelson was not the only heckler who tried to distract West in his performance. As he took the stage, a huge flag was seen being waved at the rapper, featuring his wife, Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape with former boyfriend Ray-J, Daily Mail reported. However, the rapper appeared indifferent and later paid a moving tribute to his wife telling the audience that she often brings out the poetry in him.

Also present at the event was the rapper's proud wife, who is who is pregnant with their second child, and Kendall Jenner and her fellow model Cara Delevingne, who strutted the runways at Paris Men's Fashion Week before arriving at London just in time to catch the West's performance.
