Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Alongside Lumia 940 XL With Windows 10, QHD Screen Display

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release will reportedly take place next month, but it may come with a new companion. Since the laplet will arrive with Windows 10, there is a possibility that consumers will witness the Lumia 940 XL release.

Ever since it was announced that Lumia smartphones will receive Windows 10 OS update, fans began to speculate the new first Microsoft-made Lumia smartphones that will become its flagship smartphone packing the latest Windows operating system.

Rumors have been going around pertaining to the Lumia 940 XL. According to iDigital Times, the Lumia 940 XL specs and features surfaced online. The document revealed that Lumia 940 XL will pack a 5.7-inch QHD touchscreen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will sport Qualcomm Adreno 430 paired with a 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Microsoft will follow the trademark of Nokia in making high camera in its handsets. The Lumia 940 XL smartphone is rumored to be equipped with 20 megapixel rear camera.

Meanwhile, some of the purported features of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 are: 12-inch screen display with 2K pixel resolution, Intel Skylake processor, stylus, and USB Type-C port. Just like the previous Microsoft Surface Pro 3, the device will sport a keyboard accessory that will transform the device into an ultra-portable laptop. Moreover, the Redmond-based tech giant previously indicated that it would ensure compatibility of accessories like its Type Cover 3 and Docking Station with future generations of the Pro.

However, this should be taken as a grain of salt as Microsoft, under its new leadership, will undergo changes. Geek Wire got hold of the letter and posted some parts of it. Specifically, it stated, "We will need to innovate in new areas, execute against our plans, make some tough choices in areas where things are not working and solve hard problems in ways that drive customer value."
