"Shahs of Sunset" star Reza Farahan claims that the reason why Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido's relationship did not work out was because the former refused to open up about his feelings.

According to Reality Tea, Farahan accused Shouhed of always "playing the victim." He claimed that he has a habit of twisting stories so that Parido would feel sorry for him. He also criticized Shouhed for not allowing Parido to attend the reunion episode. He said that he was afraid that she was going to find out things about him and would eventually demand for a break up. Farahan said that Shouhed and Parido should try to be more open to each other.

When asked if Farahan still considers him as one of his friends, the reality star said that they could definitely save their friendship if Shouhed would only make the effort. Farahan also apologized for the way he acted during the reunion special. He, however, pointed out that the cast members, Shouhed and Parido in particular, needed to hear the harsh truth. He mentioned that they needed to get everything out in the open before they can all move forward.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Bravo, Asa Soltan expressed her support towards Farahan's decision to be more honest to their friends and co-stars. She feels positive that things will change come season 5. She admitted that there had been tension in the past weeks among them; however, they were able to resolve it following the confrontation during the reunion episode.
