Google Nexus 2015 smartphone release may come sooner as more Nexus 6 discounts surfaced online courtesy of Motorola and Best Buy.
It was previously reported that Google Play Store slashed the price of Nexus 6 handset. Consumers can get hold of the handset through Motorola and Best Buy as both sellers also give $150 price cut to the current Nexus smartphone. It is not revealed until when the promo will last, but it is better to take advantage of the deal immediately.
This is not the first time that Nexus 6 received such generous discount. The smartphone was offered with the same price cut in early June.
Nexus 6 handset was released in the fall 2014. A price cut on any device is one of the indications that the successor of the said device is coming soon. The Nexus 6 discounts allow sellers to exhaust their remaining inventory and maximize profits.
Meanwhile, LG confirmed that it will be making the next Nexus 2015 smartphone. Android PIT cited an unnamed source claiming that the South Korean-based company will be manufacturing the new Nexus device. The source also said that the smartphone will not be based on the previous Nexus 5 and company's current flagship LG G4.
Previous rumors stated that LG and Huawei will be making two smartphones this year as Google reportedly decides not to release a tablet this year. One of the two smartphones will be a high end device, while others speculated that the Google will finally offer its own phablet similar to its rivals - Apple and Samsung.
However, Google has not confirmed the details of the Nexus 2015 smartphone release.
