"Falling Skies" season 5 premiered on June 28 on TNT.

"Falling Skies" season 5 episode 3 is set to air a high-on-drama episode on July 12, Sunday, focusing on Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), his son Hal (Drew Roy), Maggie (Sarah Carter) and their fight of survival against six-legged Skitters.  [Spoiler alert! Read at your own risk]

Taking further the turn of events which happened in episode 2, the episode 3 of the post-apocalyptic drama of TNT series will show Hal taking some tough decision against the rules set by his father to help his love interest Maggi in her yet unknown personal mission. The once hot-headed teenager is likely to put his foot down to rise against his father soon.

In the upcoming "Falling Skies" season 5 episode 3, Wyle's character Mason will have to make some agonizing decision that will put one of his group's member's life at risk and eventually affecting everyone, HW Hills reported.

After discovering that skitter meat is not edible and is even fatal, Maggie, Ben, Pope and Sara  stumble upon a huge mass of food supply, which promises cater to their survival issues for a while. However, to take control over the seemingly endless food supply, they gave refuge to a little girl, who was controlling the food store and his skitterized brother.

Will the new character, skitterized boy, will pose an inner threat to Mason and his team of survivors? Is the food problem is really solved or is going to become bigger with time? The high-octane drama will unfold when episode 3 will air on July 12, Sunday, at 9pm central time on TNT.

Giving a sneak peek on behind-the-scene drama, Roy has earlier told TVLine that the cast of the show was not sure how to react to their leader's new found attitude when this season premiered. Although the cast cheered Mason during the show's stage production, they decided to go with a blank expression while filming the scene where he is addressing his group members.
