The hype for "Fallout 4" is starting to rise following the release of the official trailer for the game and game director Todd Howard confirmed some details.

It appears that Bethesda Studios' "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" has served as a learning and stepping stone for the improvements made in "Fallout 4." According to Howard, the different bugs that the popular title had encountered required the team some time to fix it, Game Informer reported.

The developers will be using the findings for "Skyrim," which include the main problem of saved game issues. Bethesda has identified this to be one of the bigger problems, even more so than game crashes. For "Fallout 4," this is one of the bugs that they will be closely looking at.

Some players who can't wait for "Fallout 4" can satisfy their gaming needs with new mods for "Fallout: New Vegas." There are currently a lot of new mods that bring elements of "Fallout 4" into the old game.

One mod adds the workshop in the official trailer of this year's "Fallout" title, while another mod will bring to life Pip-Boy, as seen in the trailer, dust and all, PC Gamer reported. For those who want to tinker with the existing menu of "Fallout: New Vegas," a mod by MassyCraft can replace the menu music to the one heard in the "Fallout 4" trailer.

Mods for the actual "Fallout 4" will be available, at least for the Xbox One after launch. Reports have stated the PS4 version of the game may also allow for mods, but this will still be dependent on Sony and its decisions as to what to allow for the franchise.
