Apple has already released the latest update iOS 8.4, and with it comes the company's newest subscription service for music, the Apple Music. The goal of the Apple Music is to provide Apple users access to play several songs that are part of Apple's catalogue.
There is also the capability of offline playback, for those who want music with no Internet access. Apple Music also has the option of letting users connect with others, to see the activities of other people who have similar tastes in music, CNet reported.
The music player underwent complete redesign, allowing it to incorporate new features such as the Recently Added and MiniPlayer. The good thing about Apple Music is that those who have been enjoying specific features of Spotify and Google Music can get it in Apple Music, Forbes reported.
Among the enjoyable features of Apple Music include a library that contains 30 million tracks from different record labels and the ability to have 100,000 tracks free once the iOS 9 debuts.
But this is not the only music-related service, as the Beats 1 Radio Station also launches alongside the new update. Beats 1 provides users with exclusive interviews, radio shows and music. Beats 1 is even one step better than Spotify's or Googles automated stations. To an extent, the Apple Music service also allows users to personalize their own tunes, either by opting to choose the radio stations created by Apple Music editors or creating playlist of favorite songs and artists.
Beyond music, the iOS 8.4 also brings fixes or iBooks. Users can now brows and download audiobooks from iBooks, preorder books from the library, access better widgets and controls and access the new Now Playing option, which is tailored for audiobooks.
The iOS 8.4 is already available for most iDevices.
