The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to get patch 1.07 across the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms later in a few days. The developer CD Projekt Red has posted some of the patch notes. Many big improvements are included such as a better inventory and sorting, player stashes, new movement system and much more.
The primary focus of the update is on addressing one of the biggest complaints about the game -- inventory management. With update 1.07, you will be getting a player stash for storing items. Also, crafting and alchemy components will no longer have a weight and new sorting options will be available to help players easily browse what they are carrying.
Other features with update 1.07 include an alternative movement response mode for Geralt, likely addressing complaints of players that Geralt moves very slowly, according to Destructoid. Also, there are a mix of minor and major fixes for performance enhancements, quest-related issues and improvements to horse behavior.
Given below is the official list of important changes coming with update 1.07
1. Several improvements to horse behavior.
2. An alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt.
3. New sorting options are now available in the Inventory.
4. Fixes for quest related issues, both minor and major.
5. Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the weight.
6. A few performance enhancements such as the optimization of scenes, FX and general gameplay.
7. A player stash for storing items, available in several locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the map of the player.
8. Books are given their own tab and those that have already been read are grayed out.
However, CD Projekt Red won't be publishing free DLC this week because the patch is very big, Cinema Blend reported.
