"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" developer CD Projekt Red warned players not to load the new downloadable content that was leaked recently because it "wasn't ready."

"@fiejoax @witchergame This DLC became available prematurely via XBL - wasn't ready. We advise against using it until it releases officially," tweeted Marcin Momot, Community Lead & Website Coordinator at CD Projekt Red.

The downloadable content included a new Zerrikanian outfit for Ciri, but because the software is not yet ready, it could possibly contain some issues potential to hurt a player's gaming experience, noted GameSpot.

Though the developers of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will not be giving away new DLCs this week and will instead release free contents next week, Momot promised that a patch 1.07 is coming for the title, which is expected to be a big one for all game versions.

Momot assured that it will feature "A LOT" of quest fixes and would be downloadable for all gaming platforms.

A number of changes that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Patch 1.07 would bring were already released at a forum post in CD Projekt Red. The changes included:

  • A new, alternative (optional) movement response for Geralt.
  • A player stash for storing items, which is going to be available in various locations throughout the game. The stash locations will be marked on the map.
  • Total Inventory weight would be reduced as the weight of crafting and alchemy ingredients will no longer be added.
  • Improved arrangement and categorization of books. There will be a dedicated tab for books in the Inventory. Books that were already read will be correctly grayed out also.
  • More sorting options are available in the Inventory.
  • Player can pin alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams.
  • A handful of fixes for major and minor quest related issues.
  • Various horse behavior improvements.
  • Performance enhancements such as FX, scenes, and general gameplay optimization

The developer will be releasing the full change list later this week.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
