Several speculations are doing the rounds about the features of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple iPad Pro. If you are going to purchase a new tablet in the forthcoming months and are looking for something that is productive, you should be considering both the tablets.

Let's have a look at the specs and features of both the tablets.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4: Specifications And Features

According to reports, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 may not arrive until next year, with some saying it may be launched in the second half of next year. However, the software company Microsoft has not made any official announcement about the Surface Pro 4.

According to the Business Korea Magazine, the South Korea-based Samsung has signed a new SSD supply deal for its 256 GB SSDs to be used in the laptops of Microsoft.

It is believed that the products will adopt the new standard of Non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe). This type of SSD can transfer data at 2 GB/s which is above three times the speed of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3's 600 MB/s. That means that the forthcoming device would be more powerful than the Surface Pro 3.

It is expected that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will come with a resolution similar to the Surface Pro 3. The upcoming tablet will also be released in 2 versions and will sport a screen size between 13 to 14 inches.

Reports also suggest that the Surface Pro 4 will be priced lower than the Surface Pro 3. The new device will come with Intel's latest Core M processors. In addition, Microsoft is anticipated to release the tablet with Windows 10 on board.

Apple iPad Pro: Specifications And Features

The software giant Apple has not issued an official announcement regarding the iPad Pro. According to Daily Express, the new tablet will have a 12.9 inch display.

The iPad Pro will most possibly use the Apple A9 processor that is found in the iPhone 6. However, according to reports, the tablet may also launch with the Apple A9X processor. The new device will be equipped with the Force Touch technology.

Furthermore, the new device will run on the iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan, indicating that the tablet will most possibly be a hybrid one. It will also include 2GB of RAM and feature 11,000 mAh battery.
