There will be two Nexus 2015 smartphone models on release date - one coming from LG and a large-screen edition from China's Huawei. A new report claims that Google and Huawei will unbox a pure Android device as early as September this year.

According to The Information, talks are underway between the two companies and the likely result is the 5.7-inch Nexus Angler that has previously leaked out. It appears too that the phablet-size Nexus phone will be paired with a wearable device that Huawei will also exclusively manufacture for Google.

The same report indicated that Google plans to tweak its Android operating system to natively support Huawei's upcoming smartwatches. The adjustment on Google's part is in pursuit of developing closer ties with Huawei, which is one the biggest and most influential tech companies operating from China.

"The relationship could help Google expand its wireless network service globally while Huawei gets Google's expertise both with its phones and its forthcoming smartwatch," The Information reported.

It was suggested too that Google has already established a good business relationship with the Chinese firm and Huawei was even described by the report as the Internet search giant's "best Android friend.

The report, however, was short on specific details about the Nexus Angler from Huawei though it pretty much confirmed recent indications that the Chinese tech firm will indeed be making the next Nexus handset, at least one of the rumored models, according to The Verge.

The Verge also noted that another Nexus phone is set for unpacking this 2015 - a 5.2-inch device that reportedly will roll out from South Korea, specifically from LG. The rumored handset goes by the name LG Bullhead at the moment.

The same device was also speculated to be modelled after the Nexus 5, which LG had issued in 2013, that gave birth to the belief that Google's signature will be labelled Nexus 5 2015. But it is likely too that that Nexus Bullhead will be the repurposed LG G4 as LG had previously used its flagship phones as base-model for the Nexus 4 and 5.

However, Android Pit has recently suggested that if LG will manufacture the smaller size Nexus 2015 it will do so from scratch. That would mean that the next vanilla Android flagship from LG will not take after the Nexus 5 or the LG G4.

Regardless, it looks like that Android fans can look forward to Google's flagship unboxing this year that involves two devices, both powered by Android M. If the new report will prove correct the Nexus 2015 release date will happen in late September or the start of fall in the United States.
