The newest fighter to join the "Street Fighter V" roster is quite the well-known favorite. But fans may also find a refreshing and different take on Ken, as he receives a redesign for the latest iteration of the game.

The master Shoryuken wielder is finally part of the main roster and equally new refreshed moves that reflect Ken's overall offensive and aggressive fighting style, PlayStation Blog reported. His V-Skill is the Quick Step, which gives Ken a boost in speed when attacking. Heat Rush, his V-Trigger, uses flames that boosts his special attacks and the damage that it brings.

Ken's moves are very aggressive and flaming, where he makes use of the fire and attack combo to bring a barrage of damages to the enemy, as seen in the video below.

Still, despite the return of the fan-favorite character, there has been immediate backlash and reactions from the community. Between comments about his new hairstyle and the plea to bring back the old design, the community is currently waiting if the developer will revert to the old Ken or stick with the new design, the same as with newly introduced character Cammy.

In the meantime, the trailer that unveiled the new character also came with another surprise teaser, as Event Hubs pointed out. At the end of the video, flashes of the possible other character coming to "Street Fighter V" can be seen. Based on the screenshots of the new character, which feature a fighter with yellow eyes and marks on his face, speculations point to two possible characters.

The first is E. Honda, whose original design features the same red marks running in the preview trailer character's face. He first appeared in "Street Fighter II"   sumo wrestler. Another character possibility is Akuma, who debuted in "Super Street Fighter II Turbo." Face-wise, the design could pertain to the Gouki as the teased character, though the skin tone and hair color of the original design is different.

"Street Fighter V" is set to release early next year. However, PS4 players can enjoy the five-day beta run starting on July 23, exclusive to Sony's next-gen console.
