Google Nexus 5 2015 is already facing a lot of anticipation from anxious customers regarding its killer specs and features. The latest rumor about the device states that it will be housing a 3D camera.

Tech giants like HC and LG started the trend of 3D camera once, but it was a long time ago, according to The Android Origin. It was popular for a short time and the trend gradually faded away from the future devices.

HTC's Evo 3D is still remembered to be one of the best 3D cameras until now. LG followed this trend with its Optimus 3D. Both these camera devices were equipped with two cameras at their backs, wherein one was 3D and the other was 2D. These phones were also equipped with an auto stereoscopic display which allowed the users to view the 3D pictures, which was possible with a pair of 3D viewing glasses.

Currently, camera sensors are far more superior than those packed in aforementioned HTC and LG smartphones. For 3D display, the Google Nexus 5 2015 will need a lot of processing power and high quality screen resolution. The improved processors can also provide good support can be provided to high quality 3D camera and display, according to The Analog Index. It will also require a superb battery backup.

However, Google is yet to confirm whether or not Nexus 5 2015 will sport a 3D camera or not.
