There will be a lot more trouble for the Winchester brothers in the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 11. In an interview, executive producer Jeremy Carver teased about the new storyline of the CW TV series as well as what will happen next after "The Darkness" was released in the finale of "Supernatural" Season 10.
According to an Examiner report, "Supernatural" executive producer Jeremy Carver shared the details of the show's upcoming new season during the press room interview at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will not be able to get away from their past in "Supernatural" Season 11.
Executive producer Jeremy Carver previewed Sam and Dean will be relying on other people for help which include "some from the old days." The "Supernatural" big boss continued to preview that there will be a "bunch of surprises and a bunch of alliances we may not have expected."
Sam and Dean must also fight off "The Darkness" together after the show's new big bad villain got released in the finale of "Supernatural" Season 10. At the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con interview with Zap2it, SPN executive producer Jeremy Carver shared that the Winchester brothers will become "more united than ever" in the upcoming new season.
Jeremy Carver further revealed that there will be a certain amount of time in "Supernatural" Season 11 where the Winchester brothers are not the only ones who will try to figure out who or what "The Darkness" is. There will be others, like the angels and demons, who will also try to discover what "The Darkness" wants and how powerful it is.
In "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 23 titled "Brother's Keeper," "The Darkness" was released after getting rid of the Mark of Cain on Dean's arm. Sam and Dean sat inside the Impala as "The Darkness" surrounded them.
"Supernatural" cast member Jared Padalecki teased that the Winchester brothers are a little protected from the black smoke of "The Darkness." However, Jared Padalecki further teased that something still happened to Sam and Dean causing the brothers to be torn apart for a little bit before they are brought back together.
Misha Collins, who portrays the angel Castiel in the CW TV series, also teased that Sam and Dean are going to deal with "The Darkness" without the help of his character because he will still be stuck under the attack dog spell that Rowena (Ruth Connell) placed on him in the finale of "Supernatural" Season 10. "Supernatural" Season 11 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday night, Oct. 7, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
