Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, admitted that bringing up her children is hard. At the #BlogHer15 conference in New York City on July 17, Friday, she gave a keynote speech.
"It's been hard and we've gone through really difficult times with it but we've always said these children are our priority," she said but she added that for both of them, their kids were their priority and commitment, Sky News reported.
The former couple has a daughter, Apple, 11, and son, Moses, 8. She said that though her romantic relationship with the Coldplay front man did not work out, their values are the same regarding the importance of family and relationships.
Although, Paltrow and the 38-year-old have gone through a lot of ups and downs in life, but their focus has always remained heir little ones. The Academy Awards winner said that in spite of the fact that both of them are at loggerheads currently, but it is always a rule that if it's a Sunday, then they would meet for brunch with the children, E! News reported.
Paltrow and Martin got married in 2003. In 2014, they announced on her blog that they had split. The Hollywood actress filed for divorce in April. Both have moved on since their split, while Paltrow is reportedly dating "Glee" co-creator Brad Falchuk, Martin has recently been linked to Jennifer Lawrence.
Paltrow admitted that both she and her ex have remained good friends and hence it was easier for her to handle the kids together. The actress also praised Martin for being a "great dad."
