A huge solar halo over Bijie City, southwest China's Guizhou Province, appeared for nearly three hours and attracted lots of citizens.

A solar halo (also known as nimbus, icebow or gloriole) is an optical phenomenon created when suspended ice particles in the clouds interact with the sun's rays.

A solar halo can be circular, light pillar or sun dog.
