There are rumors that George R.R. Martin, the author of the famous book series, "A Song of Fire and Ice," is being pushed to complete his next book "The Winds of Winter" as early as possible.

Martin is rumored to be under enormous pressure to release the much-anticipated book after the last series and the last book, both ended on Jon Snow's supposed death sequence.

It is also rumored that this book will be released in the holiday season this year, according to The Franchise Herald. The aim is to release the book before "Game of Thrones" Season 6 hits the screens, which is expected to be in April, 2016 according to The International Business Times.

The author also revealed in his latest interview that he was forced to stall the completion of the book for a long time due to other gigs. He wrote scripts for some of the earlier seasons of "Game of Thrones" and also made a lot of appearances in many events.

The entire excitement revolves around the possibility of Snow getting back to the story. Many theories are encircling his character since his death was portrayed in the book "A Dance of Dragons." The release of the upcoming book will give a lot of answers for his character.

The Emmy nominations were also announced recently, in which the highly popular show bagged a whopping 24 nominations. Martin is pretty excited with the show being such a major hit across the world. He is happy that his writing is making and breaking so many records. The show bagged 19 nominations at the Emmy's last year.
