Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ Photos

Real images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have surfaced before the speculated release in August.

In the recent past, tech sites have published 3D renders, leaked photos of the dummy units, and images of cases for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. However, for the first time, real life photos of the forthcoming Samsung flagships have surfaced, Sam Mobile reported.

The leaked photos mostly expose the frontal view of the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus. The front side of the Galaxy Note 5 phablet sports thinner bezels and a slight bigger physical Home button that is expected to house the fingerprint scanner. However, it mostly resembles the Note 4 from the front.

The metallic frame of the phablet looks similar to the one present on the Galaxy S6. Sporting a metal and glass combination chassis, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come with 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 7422 chip, 4 GB of RAM, 16 MP OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) supporting rear camera, 5 MP frontal camera, new S Pen stylus and 3000 mAh battery.

One of the images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge carries the SM-928A model number. It is a variant that is slated to be made available by AT&T, Droid Life stated.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus appears as if it is an inflated version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. Rumors have it that the Galaxy S6 Edge will be sporting a 5.7-inch display, Exynos 7422 or Snapdragon 808 chip, 32 GB native storage, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 16 MP rear camera, and 5 MP front-facing camera.

Both the flagships are expected to get unveiled through a launch event on August 13. The handsets are expected to be available for purchase from August 21.
