However, she is unsure of the impact "Supergirl" will leave until the series officially airs. Still, the actress is looking forward to playing the role of a superhero and not of a high school student who is a member of the glee club.

Meanwhile, the cast of the upcoming series is currently filming their second episode for the season. According to Screen Rant, it was showrunner Ali Adler who confirmed the news via Twitter.

Also according to the publication, the rest of the season will feature several villains who will attempt to go against Supergirl. One villainous character that has already been confirmed is Reactron. The series will also feature Superwoman or Lucy Lane. Additionally, actor Peter Facinelli has also been confirmed to star in the series as Maxwell Lord.

As of late, not much detail about the series has been revealed. What has only been unveiled are two posters that featured the lead star and some of the other cast members. This will include "Grey's Anatomy" alum Chyler Leigh, Mehead Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and David Harewood.

"Supergirl" will premiere on CBS every Monday night starting September.
