Galatasaray's Felipe Melo

Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo reportedly wants to move out of Süper Lig club Galatasaray SK as he intends to play for Italian Serie A club Inter Milan next season.

The 32-year-old veteran also had talks with Brazilian clubs Flamengo and Cruzeiro, but neither negotiations were fruitful so it seems like he would have to stay in Europe for the meantime.

Melo recently expressed his desire to play for Roberto Mancini and I Nerazzurri, saying that if it was up to him, he would "sign with Inter Milan," according to Sambafoot.

The Volta Redonda native added that his "family are not enjoying Turkey" and he does not want to keep on playing at the Türk Telekom Arena if possible. However, if no team is willing to take him, he admitted that he would still "give everything" to perform at a high level for his current team.

Reports said that he already talked with Turkish manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu of his wish to leave and discussions are ongoing with contending clubs.

Melo had been with Cim-Bom for four seasons, starting on loan from Juventus in 2011 then became a regular in 2013, scoring a total of 17 goals in 149 appearances as a defensive midfielder. He played a major role for Hamzaoğlu's squad to win the Süper Lig in 2014-2015 and the Türkiye Kupası for two straight seasons since last year.

Meanwhile, TalkSport reported that Premier League club Arsenal FC is also interested in acquiring the Brazilian's services.

In the side of Inter, though, there were rumors that Mancini is looking to sell at this time and not to buy. Speculations arose that the Italian club is full in every position and they would have to unload in order to sign new players.
