"Five Nights At Freddy's 4" is now available for download in Steam platform.
"Ok, so as many of you already know, I'm bad with release dates. The game is finished," wrote developer Scott Cawthon, at the game's Steam page. It was previously reported that the game's release will be on Aug. 8.
The package is available for $7.99 and the new chapter comes with a change in the story in comparison to the previous games, according to Eurogamer.
Initially, the "Five Nights At Freddy's 4," was expected to be released on Halloween, then Cawthon announced that the game will be released earlier on Aug. 8 to coincide with the anniversary of the original "Five Nights at Freddy's" anniversary
According to the official description of the game, the player must once again defend themselves against Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, along with even more worse things that is said to lurk in the shadows.
The game's synopsis stated that the players will not be playing at the Freddy's restaurant, but in their own house as a little kid, who has to survive till morning 6 a.m. with nothing more than a flashlight.
"If something has crept too close, then shining lights in its eyes will be your end," Cawthon teased.
The game, with the full title of "Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter" is reportedly the last in the entire series, with just an expansion planned for Halloween.
Following the launch, fans who tried the game complained about the full-screen option not working, which Cawthon said will be fixed before the day ends.
