iPad Air 3 Update: Release Delayed to 2016?

Earlier, it was speculated that Apple iPad Air 3 may be launched in October, but now the rumors suggest that the release may be delayed further.

Apple is known to launch its iPad devices in the month of October or November, so it was expected that Apple iPad Air 3 will also follow suit. However, now it is rumored that the Apple iPad Air 3 release is delayed till next year, due to logistical issues. On the other hand, it is also rumored that Apple is focusing solely on its larger tablet iPad Pro and thus the release of Apple iPad Air 3 is delayed. 

It is expected to be packed with a lot of exciting new features. It will be sporting a very sleek structure and is rumored to be the thinnest iPad until now. It may also include an A9 chipset along with a 32 GB internal storage capacity, according to The Mac World.

There are conflicting rumors that Apple iPad Air 3 may sport a 7-inch or the tandard 9.7 inches display screen, according to The IT Pro. Its predecessor Apple iPad Air 2 also had a 9.7 inches display screen.

Apple iPad Air 3 is also expected to support the 4G LTE data connection services. The screen resolution is rumored to be 401 ppi along with an enhanced 4k resolution and it may also be dust proof and water proof. It is also rumored that the device will be equipped with a USB Type-C connector, Force Touch Technology with the Taptic Engine Technology.

It is also expected that the device will be called Apple iPad 7 instead of the expected Apple iPad Air 3.
