"The Flash" season 2 will reportedly feature a depressed Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) due to the aftermath of the black hole incident. The character will also reportedly distance himself from his friends because he will blaming himself for Eddie's death.
According to Cinema Blend, Eddie's death will have a major impact on Barry so he will go in search for the truth behind black hole and all of the events that happened on the day of his demise. In his attempt to protect his friends from being involved in more trouble, Barry will likely distance himself from them.
Meanwhile, two other characters will also struggle to move on from the shocking black hole incident. According to Screen Rant, Cisco (Carlos Valdez) will transform into his alter ego Vibe in season 2 and his transformation will have something to do with Barry's decision to become lone wolf.
According to multiple sources, there is a possibility that while Barry is distancing himself from his friends, Cisco will experiment with his metahuman abilities. However, some repercussions will be introduced in the upcoming installment. In the upcoming episodes, Barry will come to terms with himself once again and he as The Flash and Cisco as Vibe will work together in fighting crimes.
In other news, "The Flash" season 2 will also introduce new villains and Rogues. It has also been confirmed that a new character and a possible new love interest for Barry will shake things up a bit between him and Iris West.
"The Flash" season 2 will premiere on The CW this October.
